Cultivating a diverse array of experiences in and out of court

May 2023 - Present

Commercial and Business Law

Intern with the Compliance and Regulatory Law sections of Duquesne Light Company, the electric supply company for Allegheny and Beaver county serving more than 600,000 customers and with over 1,000. Researching numerous regulatory and employment issues, as well assisting in the creation of new and updated corporate policies and procedures.

August 2022 - Present

Space Law and Advocacy

Research Intern with the Space Court Foundation Inc., focused on US Export restrictions and Foreign Relations in space. Delegate to the United Nations' Space Generation Fusion Forum and led the drafting of a space sustainability position statement. Member of the Keystone Space Collaborative, advocating for the growth of the space industry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the tri-state area. 

August 2021 - December 2022

Advocacy and Civil Rights

Volunteered with Abolition Law Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Reported on proceedings in Municipal and County Court to ensure equitable judicial outcomes. Attended arraignments, preliminary hearings, bench trials, and sentencings. Resulted 48 page report on Judicial misconduct in Allegheny County.

June- August 2022

Defense and Litigation

Interned with the PA Office of the Attorney General defending state employees from civil claims. Experienced in research and drafting answers, position statements, and preparing discovery. Responded to a variety of civil claims including Fourth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendment claims, as well as employment discrimination and medical malpractice claims.

Candidate for J.D. focusing on dispute resolution, international law, civil rights and litigation. Pursuing a Certificate in International and Comparative Law with a Concentration in Civil Litigation.

Work Experience - United States Army

Served in numerous rolls as a US Army Officer in the Military Police. Culminated as being selected as the Chief of Police for the American military base Yongsan in Seoul, South Korea.

Community Involvement

Elected Majority Inspector of Elections for the Borough of Swissvale, November 2021. Member of the City of Bridges Run Club and Southside Boxing Club, and participant in the Great Race and Pittsburgh Half-Marathon.

Education - University of Oklahoma & Drexel University

Bachelor's of History from Drexel University, and Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, combining International Relations with Statistics. During course on Eastern European Security, deployed as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve to Złocieniec, Poland.
